Our professional clinical psychologists have extensive experience across a broad range of services. All members of our practicing team are registered psychologists, with a passion to empower their clients to learn strategies to assist them with their present challenges and for the future.
Our aim is to provide a centre of excellence in mental health assessment and treatment. We provide a comprehensive range of psychological and counselling services to children, adolescents, adults, couples and families. Our team assists people with a range of challenges such as health difficulties, emotional and mental health, stressful life events, depression and behavioural problems.
About our founders
Dr Maxine Hawkins
Dr Maxine Hawkins is a highly experienced clinical psychologist who specialises in working with adults and adolescents. Dr Hawkins works in private practice in the areas of depression, anxiety, sleep disorders, stress management, chronic illness, self-esteem, Workcover and family/relationship and couples counselling.
Dr Hawkins has worked as a Senior Clinical Psychologist for over 10 years across a number of hospitals in Melbourne and Perth in the areas of psycho-oncology, palliative care, cystic fibrosis, lung transplant, sleep disorders, chronic illness and irritable bowel syndrome. She completed her doctorate at The University of Melbourne and moved to Perth in 2011.
Dr Hawkins is also Clinical Director Edith Cowan University Psychological Services Centre and Senior Lecturer. She lectures in the post-graduate clinical stream and provides clinical supervision in clinical masters/doctoral programs. Dr Hawkins supervises provisional psychologists across a number of health services in WA (Sir Charles Gardner Hospital -Sleep Disorders Service, Mercy Bariatric Service, Silver Chain -Palliative Care & Chronic illness) and community mental health settings.
Dr Hawkins works as a consultant on a range of projects and service evaluations for groups such as Deliotte, Monash University, the Department of Broadband, Communications & Digital Economy, Silver Chain and the Australian Psychological Society. She was also a Professional Officer Psychology for the Australian Regulatory Health Agency assessing provisional psychologist and specialist title endorsements in WA. She conducts national talks and consultancy to assist provisional psychologist with their case study submissions.
Dr Hawkins has presented at a number of national and international conferences and has publications in peer-reviewed journals. She is also the principal investigator on a number of successful government and non-government grants (Perth & Melb). These have included telemedicine and ehealth, psycho-social care for cancer patients and carers, psychology report writing, creating models of palliative care for non-malignant disease and motivational interviewing to improve treatment adherence. Most recently she is a Principal Investigator on a WA Health funded project to assist patients with COPD using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.
Whilst Dr Hawkins enjoys her many roles her great passion is her clinical work with clients.

Luke has worked in the Human Resources sector for nearly 20 years. He has worked for some of Australia’s largest Mining and Recruitment Companies and has held Director and General Management positions with both national and Western Australian organisations.
Luke holds a Bachelor of Business Degree from Edith Cowan University. At Clear Health Partners Luke is responsible for the Finance and Operations of the business. This allows our clinical psychologists to focus purely on their clients.
